Drielandenroute Echt-Susteren

Is cycling through the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany only for diehards, who test themselves to the limit on the steep Vaalserberg? Not at all! On this cross-border route, you cycle, at your leisure, from the narrowest part of Limburg, past monuments, monasteries and picturesque villages.

Starting from the small town of Echt, you follow cycle junction numbers. Enjoy magnificent views of the banks of the Maas. Discover historic cities and charming hamlets, hidden between the farmland. Fancy a boost halfway the route? A break at Brasserie Het IJzerenbos or Hotel-Restaurant De Roosterhoeve is highly recommended. Please note that, during the winter season, the ferries on this route are often out of service.
