Bourgondisch rondje Sittard

Do you want to combine a moment of coziness with reflection, culture, history, and a Burgundian city center? Then right in the heart of Sittard you’re hitting the bullseye.

The historic city center and green surroundings of Sittard are known for their beautiful monumental buildings and many cozy cafés and restaurants. During the tour, you’re entitled to four tasteful treats. You decide at which locations you want to enjoy these treats.

The culinary walking tour ‘Bourgondisch rondje Sittard’ can be walked from 28 November to 4 January 2026, from Monday to Sunday between 14:00 and 20:00. Except on 25 & 26 December and 1 January (on 24 & 31 December until 17:00).

You can receive Bourgondisch rondje Sittard in the following ways. At the moment, only online reservations are possible. Soon the walking maps will also be available for purchase at the Visit Zuid-Limburg locations and webshop:

1. Online: reserve your Bourgondisch rondje Sittard walking map online. You will then receive an e-voucher with which you can pick up your Bourgondisch rondje Sittard walking map(s) from 28 November at the Visit Zuid-Limburg Experience in Sittard (Rosmolenstraat 2).

2. Physical: pick up your Bourgondisch rondje Sittard map at one of the Visit Zuid-Limburg Experiences: Sittard (Rosmolenstraat 2), Valkenburg (Theodoor Dorrenplein 5), Heerlen (Spoorplein 40), and Gulpen (Dorpsstraat 27).

Locations are open on: Monday from 13:00–17:00, Tuesday to Friday from 10:00–17:00, and Saturday from 10:00–16:00. Sunday: closed.

3. Webshop: order your Bourgondisch rondje Sittard walking maps in advance through the Visit Zuid-Limburg webshop and receive the maps at home by post.
